Obama first suspends its objectives

The U.S. government has been forced since last midnight to suspend part of its operations for the first time in 17 years, after the deadline to pass a budget and the lack of agreement between Democrats and Republicans.

This will prevent some 800,000 civil servants pay, imposing the closure of non-
essential federal services, but very visible, such as national parks, monuments or federal agencies. Others, such as mail carriers, air traffic controllers or border guards, will remain in place, although none of them charge their salary until the  conflict is resolved.
